Section 56. Application for inquiry

This Act was repealed on 1 January 1996 by the Waqf Act, 1995 (Central Act 43 of 1995), s.112(3); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
56. A beneficiary or any person interested in a waqf, may make an application to the Board supported by an affidavit to institute an enquiry relating to the administration of the waqf, or for the examination and audit of the accounts thereof, and the Board may male or cause to be made through its own officer, or thong, a sub-committee constituted under section 27, such enquiry, examination or audit as it may deem fit.
