Section 1. Short title and commencement

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Uttarakhand Plastic and Other Non Biodegradable Garbage (Regulation of Use and Throwing) Act, 2013 (Uttarakhand Act 17 of 2013), s.22(1); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
1- (1) This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Plastic and Other Non-Biodegradable Garbage (Regulation of Use and Disposal) Act, 2000. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on July 11, 2000.
