Section 14. Penalty

14- If any person contravenes any of the provisions of this Chapter or the rules made thereunder, he shall be deemed to have committed a forest offence, and the resin or resin product, if any, in respect of which such offence is committed shall in relation to the commission of such offence be deemed to be forest produce, and the provisions of Chapter IX of the Indian Forest Act, l927, as amended in its application to Uttar Pradesh (excepting section 69 thereof), shall accordingly apply with necessary, modifications.
