15-A Every member of the assembly [***]5, whether or not he holds any of the office referred to in clause (1) of section 2 including the leader of opposition shall be entitled to receive for the duration of his membership or, as he case may be during the whole of the term in which he holds such office, secretarial allowance at the rate of [six thousand rupees]8 per month.]4
