[72-G With effect from the date of the commencement of the Uttar Pradesh State Universities (Second Amendment) Act, 1997 any reference to the University of Gorakhpur and the University of Rohilkhand in this Act, or any rules, statutes Ordinance, statutory instruments or any other law for the time being in force or in any document or proceedings shall be construed as a freerence to Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur and Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly respectively. }3
