Section 17. Power of Inspector to adjust weights or measures

17- Where it appears to the State Government desirable that an Inspector should be allowed in any area to adjust the weights or measures or weighting or measuring instruments, it may, if it thinks fit, authorize such Inspector to adjust weights and measures or such instruments accordingly.
