Section 9. Appointment of Commissioner of Payments.

9. (1) The State Government shall, for the purpose of disbursing the amounts payable under section 8, by notification, appoint a Commissioner of Payments. (2) The salary and allowances of the Commissioner appointed under this section shall be defrayed out of the Consolidated Fund of the State.
