This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Burdwan University Act, 1981 (West Bengal Act XXIII of 1981), s.57(9); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
1. (1) This Act may be called the Burdwan University Act, 1959. (2) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
