Section 25. Survey.

This Act was repealed on 1 March 2003 by the West Bengal Thika Tenancy (Acquisition and Regulation) Act, 2001, s.27(1); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
25. The State Government shall cause a survey to be made in the areas of Calcutta as described in sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Calcutta Thika Tenancy Act, 1949 in accordance with the provisions of the Calcutta Survey Act 1887, in order to record the names of thika tenants and of Bharatias.
