Section 15. Power of the State Government to sanction or reject a project.

15. (1) The State Government may approve either with or without modification, or may refuse to approve, any project submitted to it under section 14. (2) Whenever the State Government approves any project under sub-section (1), it shall publish a notification in the Official Gazette, specifying the area in which the project shall be implemented.
