1. (1) This Act may be called the West Bengal Drugs (Control) Act, 1950. (2) It extends to the whole of West Bengal. (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force immediately on the West Bengal Drugs (Control) Ordinance, 1949, ceasing to operate.
