The West Bengal Housing Industry Regulation Act, 2017

This Act was repealed on 4 May 2021 by struck down as beyond the State's legislative power by the Supreme Court in Forum for People's Collective Efforts v. State of West Bengal (4 May 2021); it may still apply to matters that began before then.

74. (1) The Authority shall prepare a report once in every year, in such form and at such time as may be prescribed by the State Government which shall contain of— (a) a description of all the activities of the Authority for the previous year; (b) the annual accounts for the previous year; and (c) the programs of work for the coming year. (2) A copy of the report received under sub-section (1) shall be laid, as soon as may be after it is received, before the State Legislature.
