Section 16. Audit and accounts.

16. (1) The Board shall maintain proper records of accounts for each and every financial year in such manner and in such form as may be provided for by regulations. (2) The Board shall submit annual statement of accounts to the State Government showing all receipts and payments for the financial year to be audited duly by a qualified chartered accountant as defined under the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949. (3) The State Government shall cause statutory audit in periodical manner of the fund and accounts of the Board.
