Section 27. Pension and provident funds.

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Kalyani University Act, 1981 (West Bengal Act 40 of 1981); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
27. (1) The University shall constitute for the benefit of its officers (including the Vice-Chancellor), Teachers and other employees, in such manner and subject to such conditions as may be prescribed, such pension, insurance or provident funds as it may deem fit. (2) Where a provident fund has been constituted by the University for the benefit of the officers, Teachers and other employees of the University, the provisions of the Provident Funds Act, 1925, shall apply to such fund as if the fund were a Government Provident Fund.
