Section 11. Term of office of Members.

11. (1) Subject to the provisions of section 10, the term of office of the Members nominated or elected under section 5 or section 6 shall be for four years commencing from the date of the first meeting of the Parishad after its first constitution or any subsequent periodical reconstitution, as the case may be. (2) The term of four years referred to in sub-section (1) shall be held to include any period which may elapse between the expiry of the said period of four years and the date of the first meeting of the Parishad following its reconstitution at which a quorum is present.
