Section 4. Transitional provision.

4. Upon the constitution of the Parishad— (1) the General Council and State Faculty of Ayurvedic Medicine, West Bengal, shall cease to exist and the assets and liabilities thereof shall stand transferred to the Parishad; (2) any order passed, any appointment made, anything whatsoever begun or done by the General Council and State Faculty of Ayurvedic Medicine, West Bengal, shall, so far as it is consistent with the provisions of this Act, be deemed to have been passed, made, begun or done by the Parishad.
