1. (1) This Act may be called the West Bengal Prohibition of Smoking and Spitting and Protection of Health of Non-smokers and Minors Act, 2001.
(2) It extends to the whole of West Bengal.
(3) It shall come into 2force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
