The West Bengal Slum Areas ( Improvement And Clearance ) Act, 1972

25. (1) The State Government may, by notification, make rules for carrying out the purposes of this Act. (2) In particular, and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:— (a) the manner of publication of copies of the schemes framed under this Act; (b) the manner of publication of the notice referred to in sub-section (1) of section 14; (c) the manner of taking possession of a property by a prescribed authority under sub-section (3) of section 14; (d) the time within which an appeal under section 17 shall be filed and the manner and procedure of disposing of such appeal; and (e) such other matters as are required to be, or may be, prescribed.
