Section 17. Power to remove difficulties.

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the West Bengal Staff Selection Commission (Repealing) Act, 2017 (West Bengal Act XXIII of 2017); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
17. If any difficulty arises in giving effect to any of the provisions of this Act, the State Government may, by order, not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, remove the difficulty: Provided that no such order shall be made after the expiry of two years from the date of coming into force of this Act.
