This Act was repealed on 29 June 2015 by the West Bengal State Council of Higher Education Act, 2015 (West Bengal Act X of 2015), s.29(1); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
1. (1) This Act may be called the West Bengal State Council of Higher Education Act, 1994. (2) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification, appoint.
