Section 5. Savings.

5. Upon the Transferred Territories (Application of West Bengal Tax Laws) Ordinance, 1957, ceasing to operate, anything done, any action taken or any legal effect produced under the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done, taken or produced under this Act as if this Act had come into force on the 1st day of September, 1957.
