1. (1) This Act may be called the West Bengal Universities and Colleges (Administration and Regulation) Act, 2017. (2) It shall extend to the whole of West Bengal. (3) It shall come into force on such date or dates as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
