Section 7. Issue of certificate to member of Force.
THE ARUNACHAL PRADESH FIRE *AND EMERGENCY SERVICES ACT, 1991 (Act Nol of 1992)
This Act was repealed on 11 May 2026 by the Arunachal Pradesh Fire and Emergency Services Act, 2026 (Act 12 of 2026), s.73 (it names "the Arunachal Pradesh Fires Service Force Act, 1991 (Act No. 1 of 1991)"), in force on its publication in the Official Gazette, 11 May 2026; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
7 (1) Every person shall, on appointment to the force, receive a certificate in the prescribed form under seal of the Director or an officer authorised in this behalf by the Government and thereupon such person shall have the powers, functions and privileges of a member of the Force under this Act. (2) The certificate referred to in-sub-section (I) shall cease to have effect when the person named therein ceases to be a member of the force, and on his so ceasing, he shall forthwith surrender the certificate to any officer empowered to received the same. (3) During the period of suspension, the powers, functions and privileges vested in such member of the force shall be closed till revocation of suspension but such member shall continue to be the member of the Force.
