Section 8. Auxiliary Fire Force.

This Act was repealed on 11 May 2026 by the Arunachal Pradesh Fire and Emergency Services Act, 2026 (Act 12 of 2026), s.73 (it names "the Arunachal Pradesh Fires Service Force Act, 1991 (Act No. 1 of 1991)"), in force on its publication in the Official Gazette, 11 May 2026; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
8.Whenever it appears to the Government that it is necessary to augment the force, it may raise an auxiliary force by enrolment of volunteers for such areas and on such terms and conditions as it may determine.
