This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Assam Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Act, 1959 (Assam Act No. XIX of 1959), as listed in the Assam Legislative Department's list of repealed Acts; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
29. No suit, prosecution or other legal proceedings shall be instituted against any public servant for anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done under the provisions of this Act or rules made thereunder.
