This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Assam Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Act, 1959 (Assam Act No. XIX of 1959), as listed in the Assam Legislative Department's list of repealed Acts; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
30. Any of the powers and duties conferred and imposed upon the State Government by this Act may be exercised and performed, subject to such conditions as the State Government may think fit, by any person whom the State Government may, by general or special order, empower in this behalf.
