This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Assam Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Act, 1959 (Assam Act No. XIX of 1959), as listed in the Assam Legislative Department's list of repealed Acts; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
32. Trial of offences under this Act shall not preclude the trial of any person under any other law in force for the time being.
