Section 33. Power of Government to make rules.

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Assam Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Act, 1959 (Assam Act No. XIX of 1959), as listed in the Assam Legislative Department's list of repealed Acts; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
33. The State Government may, after previous publication, make rules to carry out the purposes of this Act and such rules may provide a penalty not exceeding fifty rupees for a breach thereof.
