This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Assam Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Act, 1959 (Assam Act No. XIX of 1959), as listed in the Assam Legislative Department's list of repealed Acts; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
34. On the coming into force of this Act— The enactments specified in the Second Schedule to this Act shall be deemed to have been amended to the extent and in the manner specified in the second column thereof.
