Section 9. Offences to be cognizable.

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Assam Cattle Preservation Act, 2021 (named as the Act repealing it at entry 33 of the Assam Legislative Department's list of repealed Acts; the list gives no date); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
9. Offences to be cognizable.—Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 (Act V of 1898), all offences under this Act shall be cognizable.
