1. Short title, extent and application.—(1) This Act may be called the Assam Enhanced Police Disciplinary Powers Act, 1950. (2) It extends to whole of Assam and applies to all members of the Assam Police Forces and the Assam Police Battalion wherever they may be serving. (3) It shall come into force at once.
