Section 16. Allowances of President and Members and remuneration of Officers.

This Act was repealed on 7 February 2023 by the Assam Evacuee Property (Repealing) Act, 2022 (Assam Act 71 of 2023), s.2(1); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
16. Allowances of President and Members and remuneration of Officers.—(1) The members of the Committee shall not be entitled to any salary but may receive such allowances as may be fixed by the State Government. (2) The remuneration of the Administrative Officers and of other staff shall be such as may be fixed by the State Government.
