This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by The Assam Repealing Act, 2020 (upheld by the Gauhati High Court in February 2022); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
2. The Act shall not apply to any Madrassa Educational Institution or Arabic College established or claiming protection under Article 30 of the Constitution of India.
