Section 7. Prohibition against practicing any profession during the tenure of office as Minister or the Leader of the opposition

7. The Ministers and the Leader of the Opposition shall not, during the tenure of their office in respect of which they draw salaries and allowances,- (a) practice any profession or engage in any trade or undertake for remuneration any employment other than their duties as such Minister or the Leader of the Opposition, as the case may be. (b) be entitled to any salary or allowances as are admissible to a Member of the Assam Legislative Assembly.
