This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by The Assam Ministers' and Leader of the Opposition's Salaries, Allowances and Amenities Act, 2018; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
12. In the Assam State Legislature Members (Removal of Disqualifications) Act, 1950,— In the schedule appended to Section 2, the following shall be added, namely :— “12. The Leader of Opposition as defined in the Salary and Allowances of the Leader of Opposition in the Assam Legislative Assembly Act, 1978”.
