Section 44. Delegation of Powers

44. Delegation of Powers - (1) The Board may, by statutes, delegate the powers to be exercised by it under this Act or the Statutes made there under, to any authority, Vice-Chancellor of the University subject to such conditions and restriction as the Board may deem proper. (2) The Vice-Chancellor may, by Statutes, delegate the powers exercisable under this act or the statutes made thereunder to any officer, Heads of colleges, Departments / Centers/ Units subject to such conditions and restrictions as he may deem proper.
