Section 25A. Daily hours of work for young person
The Chhattisgarh SHOPS and ESTABLISHMENTS ACT, 1958
This Act was repealed on 13 February 2025 by the Chhattisgarh Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 2017 (Chhattisgarh Act 21 of 2018), s.30(1), in force from 13 February 2025; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
25A. Daily hours of work for young person -- (1) Not withstanding anything contained in this Act, no young person shall be required or allowed to work whether as an employee or otherwise, in any establishment for more than five hours in any day. (2) No young person, shall be required or allowed to work whether as an employee or otherwise, in any establishment for more than three hours in any day unless he had an interval for rest of at least half an hour.
