Section 2. Definitions.

2. In this Act, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context,— (a) “agriculturist” means a person who holds land for agricultural purposes and who earns his livelihood wholly or mainly from agriculture; (b) “civil court” includes a Court of Small Causes; (c) “decree for money” means a decree for payment of money a passed by Civil Court, a Panchayat or a Nyaya Panchayat; (d) “notification” means a notification issued under section 3 of this Act.
