This Act was repealed on 26 January 2020 by the Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu (Repeal) Regulation, 2020 (5 of 2020), s.2(1) and Schedule item (1); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
69. Whenever in respect of any proceeding under this Regulation a person being the Commissioner or any Value Added Tax Authority is succeeded by another person— (a) the person so succeeding shall exercise all such powers under this Regulation which were exercised by the preceding person; and (b) the person so succeeding may continue the proceeding from the stage at which the proceeding was left by his predecessor.
