This Act was repealed on 1 May 2019 by the Gujarat Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 2019 (Gujarat Act 4 of 2019), s.41; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
30. The spread-over of an employee in a theatre or other place of public amusement or entertainment shall not exceed eleven hours in any day : Provided that the 54[State] Government may increase the spread--over period subject to such conditions as it may impose either generally or in the case of a particular theatre or other place of public amusement or entertainment.
