Section 117D. Government may direct an original or revision settlement of land revenue of 7[any lands].

117D. (1)The 2 [State] Government may at any time direct a settlement, hereinafter referred to as an original settlement, of the land revenue of any land of which a revenue survey has been made under section 95 6[or not]. (2) The 2[State] Government may also direct at any time a fresh settlement. hereinafter referred to as a revision settlement, of the land revenue of such land: Provided that no enhancement of assessment shall take effect before the expiration of the settlement for the time being in force.
