The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Cluster University, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh (Establishment and Regulation) Act, 2018

This Act was repealed on 1 April 2022 by the Sardar Patel University Mandi, Himachal Pradesh (Establishment and Regulation) Act, 2021 (Act No. 3 of 2022), s.55(1); it may still apply to matters that began before then.

14. The Chancellor.- (1) The Governor of Himachal Pradesh shall be the Chancellor of the Cluster University. (2) The Chancellor shall, by virtue of his office, be the Head of the Cluster University and its Governing body. He shall, when present, preside over at any convocation of the Cluster University. (3) The Chancellor shall have such powers as may be conferred on him by or under this Act. (4) The Chancellor may delegate to the Vice-Chancellor such of his powers under this Act or Statute, as he may specify.
