Section 38. Certificate to be shown to persons on demand.

38. (1) Any person registered under this Act shall at all times, on demand, produce and show his certificate of registration to any of the following persons, namely : (a) the prescribed authority or any other officer duly authorised by it in this behalf; (b) any authority authorised by the Government or any officer authorised by the Director, Tourism, Jharkhand; and (c) any bonafide customer. (2) Any person who refuses on demand to show his certificate to, or allowed to be read by, any of the persons authorized to demand it, shall be punishable with fine not exceeding Rs. 10,000.00.
