Section 123. Court-fees.

123. Court-fees.—1[(1)]1 Notwithstanding anything contained in the 2[Karnataka]2 Court- fees and Suits Valuation Act, 1958, every application or appeal made under this Act to the 3[Court]3, 4[Tahsildar]4 Assistant Commissioner, 5[Tribunal]5 Deputy Commissioner, the 3[District Court]3 or the 2[Karnataka Appellate Tribunal]2 or other authority shall bear a court- fee stamp of such value as may be prescribed. 1[(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in the Karnataka Court Fees and Suits Valuation Act, 1958 (Karnataka Act 16 of 1958), no court fee shall be payable on every appeal treated as a writ petition by the High Court under section 17 of the Karnataka Land Reforms (Amendment) Act, 1990.]1
