Enquiries and proceedings.—All enquiries and proceedings before 1[x x x]1, the Deputy Commissioner, 2[the Tribunal]2 3[x x x]3 the Assistant Commissioner or 4[the Tahsildar]4 or the 5[Karnataka Appellate Tribunal]5 shall be deemed to be judicial proceedings within the meaning of 6[sections 229, 257 and 267 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (Central Act 45 of 2023).]6
