Section 2. Definitions.

This Act was repealed on 31 December 2020 by the Karnataka Parliamentary Secretaries Salary, Allowances and Miscellaneous Provisions (Repeal) Act, 2020 (Karnataka Act 58 of 2020), s.2; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
2. Definitions.—In this Act, unless the context, otherwise requires,— (a) “Parliamentary Secretary” means a member of the 1[Karnataka]1 Legislative Assembly]2 or the 1[Karnataka Legislative Council]1 appointed as a Parliamentary Secretary 2[by the Chief Minister]2; (b) “prescribed” means prescribed by rules made under this Act; 3[(c) x x x ]3
