Section 248. Diseases among animals.

248. Diseases among animals.— In the event of a municipal area being threatened or visited at any time by the outbreak of any infectious disease amongst cattle, sheep, goats or other animals, the Council shall take all such measures as it deems necessary for the purpose of preventing, meeting, mitigating or suppressing the disease or the outbreak or introduction thereof, and the provisions of sections 238 to 247, shall mutatis mutandis apply.
