139. Power of entry.— The 10[Zilla Parishad may authorise its President or Chief Executive Officer or the Panchayat Samiti may authorise its Chairman], 11[or Block Development Officer] to enter on and inspect, or cause to be entered on and inspected, at all reasonable time any immovable property occupied by any panchayat or any work in progress under its direction.
