Section 1. Short title, extent and commencement

This Act was repealed on 4 April 2018 by the Manipur Parliamentary Secretary (Appointment, Salary and Allowances and Miscellaneous Provisions) Repealing Act, 2018 (Manipur Act No. 6 of 2018), s.2(1), in force with immediate effect (assent 4 April 2018); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
1. (1) This Act may be called the Manipur Parliamentary Secretary (Appointment, Salary and Allowances and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 2012. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Manipur. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
