1[103-A. Powers of municipality to give direction :– Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, on and after the commencement of the Orissa Municipal (Amendment) Act, 1994,– (a) the exercise of any power of performance or any function by the Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, the Executive Officer or any other officer under this Act shall be subject to the direction, if any, as may be given by the Municipality in that behalf; and (b) all orders decisions of the Chairperson or the Vice-Chairperson of a Municipality under the provisions of this Act shall be carried into effect by the Executive Officer of the Municipality and none else.]
